    Overview

    Since October 2007, Studies Without Borders has been running a scholarship programme in Kindu in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The programme supports motivated people in Kindu by awarding study scholarships. Access to courses is ensured by paying tuition fees and financial support for study materials. Additionally, sponsored students receive a subsidy for living costs.
    The programme is currently being restructured and no new scholarships will be offered until further notice (as of January 2020).
