Betterplace
As a volunteer organization, we appreciate every donation – even small amounts help us! For maximum transparency and easy processing, we use the Betterplace platform for one-time donations. Through the Betterplace form, you can also donate directly via direct debit, credit card, or PayPal. Here you can alternatively choose which project your donation should go to.
Since April 2017, Betterplace retains 2.5% of each donation to cover transaction fees. If you want 100% of your donation to go to our organization, you can of course also donate by transferring directly to our association's account.
Donation Receipts
Studieren Ohne Grenzen is recognized as a non-profit and charitable organization. Therefore, we can issue donation receipts:
- For donations via Betterplace.org, Betterplace will automatically send you a donation receipt at the beginning of the following year.
- For regular transfers up to 200 euros, a simplified donation receipt can be used – simply print it out and archive it with the bank statement documenting the donation. This is sufficient for tax purposes according to § 50 Abs. 4 Satz 1 EStDV.
- simplified donation receipt (document still needs to be linked)
- simplified receipt for membership fees (document still needs to be linked)
- If you provide your postal address in the transfer reference, we will automatically send a donation receipt for donations of 300 euros or more. Of course, we can also issue a receipt for smaller amounts upon request (kontakt@studieren-ohne-grenzen.org).

With partial sponsorships of €70 per month, you cover living expenses, while €40 per month covers tuition fees and study materials. With a partial sponsorship of €15 per month, you cover the costs for study materials and a small part of the tuition fees.

Mweso (DR Congo)
With the equivalent of 18 euros per month, you can finance the entire studies of a Congolese student. The costs consist of direct tuition and examination fees and a subsidy for teaching materials. The scholarship program in Mweso started in September 2010 and enables needy, socially committed Congolese students to study at an agricultural institute in Mweso, eastern DR Congo.
You can find the sponsorship form for Mweso here. For questions, contact: mweso@studieren-ohne-grenzen.org

Membership in the Support Association
The support association was founded to support the organization and its idea. The aim of the association is to create a nationwide alumni network and to promote the projects of Studieren Ohne Grenzen.
The association is aimed in particular at former members who leave active club work but want to stay connected to the association. It serves as a platform to stay in contact with Studieren Ohne Grenzen and to network with each other. In addition, the support association offers an opportunity to support the idea of Studieren Ohne Grenzen without getting involved in active club work.
The support association supports Studieren Ohne Grenzen both financially and ideally, e.g., in an advisory capacity and by offering information evenings or workshops. All donations and funding from the support association are forwarded to Studieren Ohne Grenzen.
You can find more information here or contact the support association at info@fv.studieren-ohne-grenzen.org.
